These transformers are cast under vacuum with bulk casting resin. Dry-type transformers are completely covered with casting resin including primary and secondary windings, so that their penetration prevented from moisture. The bulk resin provides very good protection against adverse environmental conditions. These transformers can work non-stop at 100% humidity.
